Conference Venue: Palazzo dei Congressi, Piazza Adua 1, 50123 Florence, ITALY
CONFERENCE TOPIC:
There has been a substantial increase in embolization indications over the last decade, making embolization therapy a central part of daily Interventional Radiology work. Fibroid embolization, trauma and GI-hemorrhage are only a few areas manifesting this fast increase. Additionally, treatment of vascular malformations is fully dependent on embolization techniques. Oncology treatment with drug-eluting and target-specific beads is another fast-growing field of embolization indication.
Due to this development CIRSE is organizing the first European Conference on Embolotherapy, ET 2008, which will focus exclusively on embolotherapy, offering special sessions and dedicated workshops for increased tutor-participant interaction. Join us from April 9-12, 2008, in Florence, Italy.
Back to back with ET 2008, the first European Conference on Interventional Oncology, ECIO 2008, will offer you the opportunity to learn all about oncology treatment options in Interventional Radiology, including embolization, RFA and other treatments. With ET/ECIO 2008 CIRSE offers you the change to combine 2 courses in only one trip. The specific embolization course (ET) and the dedicated oncology course (ECIO) can be attended separately, but you can also combine both courses for the same registration fee. This will give you the chance to return home with a broad and up-to-date overview on embolization therapy and percutaneous oncology treatments.
